Description
The Head of School serves as the chief executive and educational leader of all school-age programs in two states (Rhode Island and Massachusetts), responsible for advancing the institution’s mission, ensuring academic excellence, and overseeing all operational aspects of schools covering grades pre-K to 12+.
This role directly supervises:
- Head of The Carter School (grades 9 to 12+)
- Head of The Grace School (grades K to 8 including Rhode Island Pre-K)
- Head of The Schwartz School (grades pre-K to 12+)
- Director of Special Education (grades pre-K to 12+)
- Rhode Island Pre-K

Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in education, leadership, or related field
- Valid certification from RIDE and MA-DESE as a School Administrator or Superintendent
- Significant leadership experience in K–12 education (preferably both public and private or independent school)
- Experience managing multiple academic leaders, schools or campuses

What We Do
Meeting Street is a non-profit organization providing early childhood developmental supports, special education, and fully inclusive classrooms for children and families from prenatal to age 22. Serving Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, the organization offers a comprehensive continuum of services, including specialized school programs and early learning centers, creating a supportive, compassionate, and inclusive environment for children with special needs and their families.
