The Role

We are looking to add a Head of PSP Partnerships to continue to build and grow our PSP business. As the Head of PSP Partnerships, you will be responsible for building and executing a plan to both deliver new Partners and drive revenue growth with existing Partners. 

A player / manager role, you will be responsible for building and executing our PSP business plan across acquisition and management. You will initially manage a team including a Partner AE, Partner Account Manager and Solution Engineer. 

You will work hand in hand with an agile cross functional team (Go to Market, Engineering, Product) and be key in shaping the future product direction. We’ve built a dynamic, collaborative culture where we hire and develop smart, driven people who share our desire to do work we can be proud of.

    • Working with a cross functional team (GTM, Engineering, Product, Reg/Risk/Credit) and having a vision for not only what the product needs today but in future
  • Being revenue outcome focused. This outcome focus should be toward big ambitious 3-year targets but also tactically focused on executing in the near term
  • Developing and executing a hiring and growth strategy:
    • Helping hire, develop and ramp new team members as required
    • Identifying new global/multi-regional prospects that will help us meet our revenue goals and support GoCardless’ penetration of target markets and verticals

What Excites Us

  • Minimum of 5+ years experience in the Payments industry
    • PSP specific experience is a bonus
    • An understanding of global account-to-account payment rails is a bonus 
  • An ability to explain the key benefits of account-to-account payment rails to Partners and their merchants
  • Someone who has successfully grown key multi-million £ Partnerships in the Payments industry
  • You have strong relationship management and communication skills. You love engaging with customers and can articulate yourself clearly
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • You have a growth mindset. This includes willingness to roll up your sleeves and stretch beyond the “on paper” remit but also being willing to pivot and change to achieve the teams goals
  • You are commercially minded with strong quantitative and analytical skills. You relish helping drive revenue and identifying growth opportunities within your book of business
  • You are comfortable working with a technical product. Whilst you won’t need technical expertise, we will expect you to enjoy working with product teams internally and externally
