The Role

As Head of Product Marketing, you'll lead a team of talented product marketers to craft the story of Personio's products, assemble compelling content, and help drive the effectiveness of our sales teams.
Reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, you'll build a deep understanding of the customer and partner with product and sales organizations to bring Personio's full suite of applications including Payroll, Performance Management, Surveys, and more, to market.
Key Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Market intelligence: Develop a deep understanding of the customer & market including pain points, competitive landscape, industry trends & buyer journey to inform marketing strategy and support product strategy.
  • Product messaging & positioning: Work alongside product, sales, and research partners to craft compelling and differentiated messaging and positioning that clearly communicates Personio's unique value proposition.
  • Core content and enablement: Drive the development of high quality core content including Personio homepage, product pages, sales materials and more. Partner with sales, customer success, and enablement teams to ensure customer facing teams are proficient in pitching Personio offerings.
  • Compete: Build a strong competitive program including competitor and industry research and win/loss analysis to influence product roadmap and aid in the development of enablement assets such as battlecards.
  • Customer evidence: Scale customer evidence programs to ensure sales and customer success teams are enabled with relevant proof points during customer engagement.
  • Product launches: Design and execute best in class launch moments, while managing cross functional teams and processes to ensure strong orchestration and alignment.
  • Team leadership: Build and lead a world class product marketing organization where team members are able to do their best work, grow their careers, and have lots of fun along the way.
  • Product evangelist: Serve as key public spokesperson for Personio, keeping the press and analysts informed of Personio's product strategy and progress.


Role Requirements: What You'll Need

  • 10+ years of professional experience with focus on product marketing or B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Experience in SaaS or HR Tech is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in building messaging and positioning frameworks for multi product companies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. German language would be a plus.
  • Successful track record of cross functional partnerships with product teams and sales leadership to jointly deliver results.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and scaling marketing efforts for a SaaS company.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading product launches.
