The role oversees the day-to-day planning, execution, and strategic development of PayJoy's most important offline expansion projects across the country—including managing project scope, timelines, and deliverables; coordinating stakeholders across all levels of our partners' organization structure; driving cross-functional execution of marketing efforts; and steering sales initiatives to hit project milestones and targets.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end commercial strategy for national expansion, setting growth plans, priorities, and P&L outcomes across all workstreams.
- Drive new store expansion end to end—site selection and market research, lease negotiation, new store openings (design, activation, merchandising, logistics), and staff training for smooth handoff to operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team to consistently exceed commercial targets through SOP creation and workflow improvement.
- Build and govern strategic partner/vendor relationships nationally, mitigating risks and representing business performance to regional and global leadership.
- Lead flagship initiatives from strategy through delivery, directing cross-functional teams and owning the reporting narrative to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field from a reputable university (UI, ITB, UGM, or overseas).
- 8+ years of experience in business development and sales operations while leading a team to consistently exceed revenue targets.
- Proven experience in retail/offline store expansion—site selection, new store openings, and scaling physical footprint across multiple locations.
- Demonstrated previous experience in leading and managing an effective sales team, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving team engagement.
- Hyper-local thinking, able to tailor GTM strategy into local market trends.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
