THE OPPORTUNITY - Why This Role Is Different
As Head of New Business Mexico at Ayvens — part of Société Générale Group — you won't inherit a playbook. You'll write it. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you'll design and execute the entire new business strategy for Leasing, Full-Service Leasing, or Fleet Management: from targeting Mexico's corporate giants in FMCG, pharma, logistics, and finance, to closing complex fleet and leasing deals and handing them off seamlessly to operations.
This is a high-visibility, high-autonomy role for someone who combines strategic thinking with relentless commercial drive, and who wants to leave a mark on a market that's ready to move.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - What You'll Own
- Design & Execute Strategy: Build and lead Ayvens Mexico's new business strategy, aligned with regional and corporate commercial objectives.
- Prospect & Develop: Identify and target corporate and enterprise clients across FMCG, pharma, construction, logistics, and financial services.
- Lead the Full Sales Cycle: From lead generation and needs assessment through proposal development, negotiation, and contract signing.
- Build Solutions: Present fleet management proposals aligned with client needs and Ayvens Mexico's value proposition.
- Internal Coordination: Work across Operations, Finance, Legal, Pricing, and Fleet to ensure competitive, accurate tender responses.
- Pipeline Management: Manage new business pipeline via CRM tools, providing regular forecasts and performance reports to the Commercial Director.
- Brand Representation: Represent Ayvens at industry events, forums, and networking spaces to strengthen market positioning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Account Management and Operations teams for smooth client onboarding and service continuity.
- Pricing Strategy: Support local pricing definition in alignment with financial targets and market competitiveness.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop the new business team — fostering a high-performance, results-driven culture.
- Compliance: Ensure full compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and ethical standards in all commercial activities.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of fleet management, operative leasing, or mobility solutions
- Proven ability to manage complex B2B sales processes, RFPs, and corporate tenders
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar)
- Expertise in value-based selling and high-level commercial negotiation
- Knowledge of the Mexican corporate market and key industry dynamics
- Spanish; business-level English required

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION - Your Background
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in B2B sales or business development in Mexico, preferably within fleet management, operative leasing, automotive, financial services, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated and consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and new business targets.
- Experience managing and developing commercial teams.
- Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Preferred: Postgraduate degree or MBA.
- Relevant fields: Business Administration, Commercial Management, Engineering, Finance, or related areas.
