Job Summary
We are currently looking to hire an experienced and results-driven Head of Marketing / Senior Sales Manager to lead sales growth, brand positioning, and market expansion for our automobile business in Lagos. The ideal candidate will oversee dealership sales operations, develop strategic marketing campaigns, manage key customer relationships, and drive revenue targets across retail and fleet channels.


Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Lead and manage showroom sales teams, field sales executives, and regional sales operations.
  • Identify new business opportunities including corporate fleet sales, partnerships, and government contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences within the automotive sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients and distributors.
Marketing & Brand Management
  • Create and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, radio, outdoor, and social media platforms.
  • Increase brand visibility and customer engagement in the Lagos automobile market.
  • Coordinate vehicle launches, exhibitions, roadshows, and promotional events.
  • Manage advertising budgets and evaluate campaign performance metrics.
  • Oversee CRM initiatives, lead generation, and customer retention programs.
Operations & Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor sales and marketing staff to improve productivity and performance.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis for executive management.
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams on pricing strategies and inventory planning.
  • Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and automotive industry regulations.

Requirements
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the automobile or related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Business Administration or in a relevant field; master’s degree or MBA is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales targets and leading high performing teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire teams, influence stakeholders, and build strong business relationships.
