JOB PURPOSE
The Head of Logistics - Vietnam is responsible for leading and optimizing FLS Vietnam’s end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations across all business units and regions. This role ensures efficient, cost-effective, and compliant movement of goods while supporting the Group’s growth, operational excellence, and service commitments to clients and internal stakeholders.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Define, lead, and execute the FLS Vietnam logistics strategy in alignment with FLS Group’s business objectives, growth ambitions, and regional expansion plans.
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
Supply Chain & Vendor Management
- Select, negotiate, and manage relationships with logistics service providers and freight forwarders.
- Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics to ensure service quality and cost control.
- Identify risks in the supply chain and implement mitigation and contingency plans.
Financial & Performance Management
- Develop and manage FLS Vietnam logistics budgets, forecasts, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Monitor logistics spend, analyze variances, and report performance to senior management.
- Ensure accurate logistics-related reporting and data integrity.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.
- Oversee documentation and regulatory processes related to imports, exports, and cross-border movements.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop logistics and supply chain teams in Vietnam.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Project teams to support business needs.
- Act as the key logistics point of contact in Vietnam for senior leadership and external partners.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong understanding of international trade, customs, and transportation regulations.
