PT FWD Insurance Indonesia (“FWD Insurance”), a joint-venture insurance company and a part of FWD Group, previously known as PT Commonwealth Life, has successfully merged with PT FWD Life Indonesia (“FWD Life”) as of 1 December 2020 and will be known as FWD Insurance.
The merger of FWD Life and FWD Insurance has led to a more comprehensive range of products, including unit-linked insurance, individual & group term life insurance, individual & group personal accident insurance, and group medical insurance through technology driven-distributions such as agency, bancassurance, e-commerce, and corporate.
FWD Insurance is registered and supervised under Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (“OJK”).

This role is responsible for achieving the company’s approved Digital Partnership KPIs by driving customer acquisition, VNB, and APE targets, while also collaborating closely with the DTC lead and other key stakeholders to develop and execute the company’s Distribution 4.0 strategy through the use of smart data analytics.- Work with our key partners to achieve agreed customer acquisition, APE and VNB targets. This includes our Agency and Bank partners’ digital sales aspirations.
- Identify potential new Digital distribution partners and evaluate potential for success and fit with FWD. Build a robust business case for approval and own the success of any partnership approved for execution.
- Developing a business development strategy focused on sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients, focused on Digital Partnership business.
- Drive channel optimizations and conversion rate optimizations specific to Partnership business.
- Working with our key business partners and internal stakeholder including Group Office Colleagues to design and deliver digitization of customer journeys to acquire new customers and improve customer experience in traditional channels (Distribution 4.0).Ensure all digital programs related to Digital Partnership have clearly defined metrics to evaluate success and continuous, measurable improvement.
Requirements:
- 5 – 7 years of experience in building strategic partnership to drive e-commerce business
- Experienced Business Development best practices
- Experienced Digital & eCommerce best practices
- Experienced Digital Marketing best practices that result in customer acquisition, retention and growth
- Strong independent decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills
