Join Ericsson's Defense Market Development team and help shape global growth in the defense sector. The team builds strategic partnerships, identifies new market opportunities and positions Ericsson as a trusted partner in defense transformation.
You will work in an international environment with colleagues across sales, strategy, solutions and external organizations. Your work will support market growth, ecosystem development and digital transformation across defense, security and national resilience.
What you will do
  • Develop and lead business growth strategies for the defense market.
  • Identify new opportunities, markets, customers and strategic partners.
  • Build trusted relationships with government organizations, defense institutions, industry leaders and technology partners.
  • Engage with senior decision-makers and connect their priorities with relevant Ericsson solutions.
  • Establish partnerships and initiatives that strengthen Ericsson's market position.
  • Lead complex opportunities from strategy and relationship development through to execution.
  • Collaborate across teams to develop customer solutions and commercial opportunities.
  • Track progress and deliver measurable results in pipeline growth, market entry and strategic business development.
  • Build a strong understanding of the defense landscape and key stakeholders during the first three months, establish priority initiatives within six months and demonstrate measurable business impact within 12 months.

  • A track record of winning strategic business or delivering significant growth initiatives.
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong execution and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in telecommunications, defense, government or critical infrastructure is valuable.
  • The ability to work effectively across cultures, functions and organizations.
  • Credibility, influence and sound market insight. Ericsson-specific processes can be learned.
