- Provide relevant tax planning and tax savings for the company.
- Handle and resolve BIR and local government tax assessments of the company.
- Recommend tax reserves, if applicable.
- Conduct tax seminars relevant to the business.
- Ascertain the timely and accurate filing of tax reports and its corresponding remittances.
- Liaise with responsible BIR personnel in line with registration of new branches and application systems.
- Provide tax information to all partners who would require such data.
- Manage the application of local business permit of all branches.
- Recommend solutions/options to optimize tax outgo with the permissible tax laws/procedures
- Recommend tax considerations in key transactions/contracts/products/etc, both domestic; and international, within the bounds of the tax treaties.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of Accountancy and equivalent courses with deep understanding of Finance, Accounting and local tax laws.
- With minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in tax reporting and remittances to the BIR, as well as handling BIR audits and tax assessments.
- Experience in developing and delivering presentations at executive levels.
- Experience in conducting Tax Seminars relevant to the company’s taxation.
