As the Director, ASEA Supply Chain Execution you are responsible for leading and continuously improving the end-to-end operational supply chain across the region, ensuring reliable, efficient, and customer-focused delivery of products and services. The role owns the execution of the regional supply chain, covering proposals, order execution, operational procurement, logistics, and warehouse operations. The role acts as the primary supply chain interface to regional sales and customers, ensuring high service levels and enabling business growth through scalable, resilient, and efficient supply chain operations. The role will report directly to Global Head of Service Business Line Supply Chain and is a member of Global SBL supply chain management team.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the management of the complete order-to-delivery process for our aftermarket products in ASEA, as well as preparing the quotation and estimation for standard parts. You are accountable for the following functions:
- Proposal generation for standard parts, upgrades, retrofits, and consumables
- Order execution and supplier coordination
- Operational procurement and expediting
- Logistics execution in alignment with nominated logistics service providers
- Regional warehouse operations (3PL and company-operated)
You will be leading the supply chain team located primarily in Chennai, India.
What you bring
You have a proven track-record in managing supply chain operations in an industrial company. You have strong functional knowledge, as well as the leadership skills to drive high performing teams. To succeed in this role you have:
- Master's Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, order execution or supply chain management
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a global organization
- High sense of urgency and accountability
