About the Role

We have a growing base of self-serve users who sign up, try the product, and when they're ready raise their hand to talk to sales. You'll be the first human they meet.

This role sits at the intersection of product-led growth and sales. You'll own every email conversation with users who reach out: responding fast, running discovery to understand what they're trying to build, qualifying fit, guiding them to purchase and get started online through self-serve, rather than a long, high-touch sales cycle. You'll also be one of our sharpest sources of customer insight, turning what you hear every day into better docs, FAQs, and a smoother user journey. It's a great seat for someone early in their sales career who wants real ownership of a full inbound motion, direct exposure to a category-defining product, and a front-row view of how a PLG-to-sales pipeline actually works.

What you'll do
  • Own inbound communications. Be the primary point of contact for SMB users who request to talk to sales, respond quickly, professionally, and in a way that reflects how the product actually works.

  • Run discovery. Ask the right questions to understand each user's use case, technical setup, timeline, and buying intent, and translate that into a clear picture of fit.

  • Qualify and prioritize. Separate high-intent, well-fit users from those better served self-serve or routed elsewhere, using our qualification criteria and enrichment signals.

  • Guide users to purchase online. For SMB, the goal is to get users transacting through self-serve. Walk them through the online payment / top-up flow, answer the questions that are holding them back, remove friction, and help them get up and running fast — no heavy contracting or manual close required. Keep everything clean in the CRM.

  • Be a source of customer insight. You're closer to users than anyone. Capture the recurring questions, sticking points, and requests you hear, and turn them into inputs for our FAQ, help docs, and onboarding so we can continuously improve the self-serve journey.

  • Close the loop with the team. Route enterprise-shaped opportunities to the right owners, and share what you're hearing from users back to Growth, Product, and GTM so we keep improving the funnel.

  • Keep the motion sharp. Help refine email templates, response playbooks, and qualification logic as we scale the inbound and sales-assisted motion.

What we're looking for
  • 1–2 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or AE role, ideally at a B2B SaaS or technical/developer-facing company.

  • Excellent written communication, you can be fast, clear, and genuinely helpful over email, and you calibrate your tone to the person on the other end.

  • Strong discovery instincts: you're curious, you ask good questions, and you listen more than you pitch.

  • Comfort with technical products and technical buyers; you don't need to be an engineer, but you should be able to speak credibly about how the product works and want to learn more.

  • Organized and self-directed, you can manage a high volume of conversations without dropping threads or letting the pipeline get messy.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup where the playbook is still being written (and where you'll help write it).

Why join
  • Experience with an inbound or product-led sales motion (users coming to you, rather than pure cold outbound), and comfort guiding users through a self-serve / online purchase flow.

  • A knack for spotting patterns in customer conversations and turning them into useful docs, FAQs, or process improvements.

  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tooling (e.g., HubSpot) and enrichment workflows.

  • Interest in AI, agents, automation, or developer tools.
