Job Description

The PMO (Project Management Office) Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective project management practices within SmartRecruiters organization. This role will oversee the day-to- day management of business critical initiatives across the GTM organization, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and optimize project management processes and methodologies. It will require close collaboration with stakeholders across the business and executive leadership to drive successful project delivery and enhance overall organizational performance.


Responsibilities

Establish and Manage PMO Framework

  • Collaborates with leadership to develop and implement program strategies and best practices to optimize performance, drive successful program delivery, and achieve desired business outcomes.

Project Oversight and Reporting

  • Conduct regular project status meetings with project teams to review progress, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, risks, and resource constraints, and take proactive measures to address them and minimize impact on project outcomes.

  • Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Prepare and distribute comprehensive project status reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action items.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members on project management best practices, tools, and techniques.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the GTM organization and across the border organization.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations, proactively addressing concerns and conflicts.

  • Communicate program updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify and implement process improvements in program and project management methodologies.

  • Drive innovation in project execution to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Track and analyze metrics to drive continuous improvement in program performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale programs on time and within budget, while accomplishing desired business outcomes.

  • Transferable project management skills from previous role(s).

  • Strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams while building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making & conflict-resolution skills.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and stay focused and determined in the face of challenges and setbacks.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to understand and empathize with the perspectives and needs of project team members, stakeholders, and customers. Build trust and rapport.

  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
