You’ll join the Premium Growth India team within the Markets & Subscriptions organisation, responsible for converting free users into Premium subscribers and keeping them there. Sitting at the intersection of strategy, marketing, product, and data, the team works to sustainably grow Spotify’s Premium subscriber base in India.
In this role, you’ll drive demand capture and retention for Premium India by localising global strategies, developing India-specific initiatives, and executing across conversion funnels, offers, lifecycle programs, and win-back initiatives. You’ll collaborate with global and regional Growth teams as well as local Marketing and Music teams, while owning execution and experimentation in India.
What You’ll Do
Localise and execute the Premium demand capture strategy for India, adapting global frameworks and developing India-specific offer strategies and organic conversion opportunities in collaboration with global and regional Growth teams.
Drive programs that reduce voluntary and involuntary churn, anticipating retention risks and developing initiatives to retain and win back users.
Own CRM execution using in-house tools to build, manage, and optimise communication journeys across email, push, and in-app channels to improve conversion and retention.
Develop and test new conversion and retention approaches, bringing fresh thinking to how we turn free users into Premium subscribers and keep them engaged.
Analyse conversion and retention data to identify funnel drop-offs and cohort-specific opportunities, translating insights into clear recommendations and business cases.
Design and run A/B tests and experiments across the funnel and CRM channels to improve conversion and subscriber lifetime value.
Collaborate with Marketing to connect conversion programs with top-of-funnel activity and key brand moments, and partner with Finance to model offer economics, forecast subscriber growth, and evaluate investment returns.
Capture and share learnings that strengthen the Premium Growth playbook, contribute to global best practices, and support cross-regional Growth initiatives when business priorities require it.
Integrate AI-driven tools and workflows thoughtfully to improve decision-making and execution efficiency.
