The DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels City is looking for a Groups, Conference & Events Manager to join and strengthen its team.

Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of high-value enquiries and be responsible for achieving conversion, revenue, and profitability targets for the Groups & Events segment, both through personal accounts and the overall department performance.
Respond to all meeting, group, and event enquiries; proactively identify client needs and gather the information required to develop tailored proposals (budget, objectives, history, competition, specific expectations, etc.).
Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and secure contracts through a proactive sales approach.
Ensure the complete and accurate handover of contracted events to operational teams and maintain effective interdepartmental communication to guarantee delivery of all commitments made to clients.
Monitor deposits in collaboration with the Finance team and support revenue optimization in line with Yield Management principles.
Work closely with Operations, Reservations, Food & Beverage, Revenue Management, Finance, and Marketing teams to optimize the performance of the Groups & Events segment.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, agencies, event organizers, and other key decision-makers to drive business opportunities and customer loyalty.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand patterns to identify new business development opportunities.
Ensure data accuracy, compliance with procedures, and the quality of commercial records across all systems.
Support the Sales team and the promotion of the hotel through site inspections, client meetings, trade shows, networking events, familiarization trips, and other Sales & Marketing initiatives aimed at increasing visibility, generating business opportunities, and maximizing revenue.
Organize, coordinate, and oversee the commercial activities of the Groups & Events department.
Lead, coach, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
Set priorities and monitor the achievement of individual and team sales targets.
Monitor and continuously improve departmental conversion ratios, identify optimization opportunities, and implement actions to maximize the conversion of enquiries into signed contracts.
Execute and adapt the department's commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with the hotel's priorities and budget objectives.
Analyze performance results and implement the actions required to achieve departmental revenue, conversion, and profitability targets.
Ensure compliance with internal procedures, brand standards, and company commercial policies.
Drive continuous improvement by reviewing existing standards, keeping procedures up to date, and proposing new best practices to enhance departmental performance and efficiency.
Excellent command of French and English OR Dutch and English. Knowledge of the third language is a real asset.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
A strong focus on results and customer satisfaction.
Excellent team spirit, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
A positive, flexible, and solution-oriented attitude, including when market conditions are challenging.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Knowledge of Hilton systems such as Delphi or OnQ is an asset.
A position tailored to your experience: the job level (Sales Account Executive or Sales Account Manager), as well as the scope of responsibilities, will be determined based on your background and experience.
Working hours and professional environment: this is a full-time position with primarily office-based working hours. Occasional availability outside regular working hours is required for certain events. Travel within Belgium and abroad will also be part of the role.
