Position Summary

MIRACORP is seeking a detail-oriented Grants Lifecycle Specialist to support the Office of Grants Management (OGM). This position supports the complete grant lifecycle, including pre-award, award, post-award, financial reporting, data validation, audit resolution, and closeout activities.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support grant activities throughout the pre-award, award, post-award, and closeout phases.
  • Prepare, review, process, modify, publish, and distribute grant documentation.
  • Review grant applications, award packages, amendments, reports, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Track grant milestones, reporting deadlines, financial requirements, and recipient submissions.
  • Review financial and performance reports and conduct related data analysis.
  • Validate grant, recipient, award, performance, and financial data.
  • Identify discrepancies and coordinate the resolution of documentation and data-quality issues.
  • Support grant transparency and public-reporting requirements.
  • Assist with audit findings, corrective actions, and resolution documentation.
  • Support grant closeout, including final reports, balance reconciliation, and documentation review.
  • Maintain accurate, organized, and audit-ready grant files, databases, and trackers.
  • Coordinate with grants specialists, program officials, financial personnel, recipients, and other stakeholders.
  • Perform special projects and follow established policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or at least four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in grants management, financial administration, program operations, compliance, data analysis, or a related function.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal suitability determination or security clearance.

Preferred Requirements

  • Federal government or government contracting experience.
  • Knowledge of the federal grant’s lifecycle and 2 CFR Part 200.
  • Experience with federal grants, financial, or transparency reporting systems.
  • Experience reviewing financial reports, validating data, supporting audits, or closing grant awards.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
