WHO WE NEED:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized GPS Inventory Specialist to join our operations team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for processing GPS hardware orders and returns with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all fulfillment standards are met within a 2-3 business day window. This position also plays a vital role in inventory management, maintaining accurate stock levels, and ensuring proper documentation and communication across departments.
Key responsibilities include configuring and quality-checking GPS units, creating shipping labels, handling returns, managing inventory records, and supporting procurement and billing processes. You will also assist with special projects and help implement departmental improvements. Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and effective cross-functional communication are essential for success in this role.

- Comfortable working in a warehouse/fulfillment environment

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and special project requirements
Bonus Qualifications:
- Three or more years of customer service and technical experience is preferred, but candidates with entry level experience also can be considered.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Fulfillment and Returns
- Accurately process GPS units in a timely manner, upholding fulfillment standards and service-level expectations.
- Fulfill standard GPS hardware orders within 2-3 business days, including configuring, provisioning, and QC testing all units.
- Complete required order documentation and create shipping labels in accordance with UPS and HCSS guidelines.
- Prioritize orders based on urgency (e.g., overnight shipping, warranty replacements).
- Process hardware returns promptly and accurately.
- Review Salesforce and our accounting system shipping daily to identify and resolve any errors.
- Respond to information requests from multiple departments on a daily basis.
- Create and submit hardware purchase orders for executive approval, working directly with the Product Manager and Executive Leadership.
- Complete daily deactivation cases for the billing department.
- Order and track shipping supplies and inventory costs; address any accounts payable questions from billing or executive leadership.
Inventory Management
- Maintain and account for all physical inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and organization.
- Perform monthly inventory counts and assist with additional counts as needed.
- Receive and process incoming inventory shipments in our accounting system..
- Maintain adequate levels of shipping materials (e.g., boxes, tape, labels).
- Provide timely inventory updates and order information to internal teams including Sales, Billing, Customer Success, Support, and the GPS Business Analyst.
- Relay inventory needs to the appropriate team members and verify monthly vendor invoices.
- Take and document monthly and quarterly inventory notes, reporting to Executive Leadership as required.
Projects
- Lead and execute department projects from initiation to completion.
- Support team and departmental improvement initiatives.
- Assist in onboarding and continuous training of the Inventory Fulfillment Specialist role.
