Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze trends in health insurance policies, reimbursement systems, and regulatory frameworks
- Lead reimbursement strategy development for new technologies, including Health Technology Assessments (HTA) and clinical/economic value dossiers
- Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and medical societies to build expert consensus and support for reimbursement expansion and indication development
- Communicate product value effectively to relevant government agencies, such as HIRA (Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service), NHIS (National Health Insurance Service), and MoHW (Ministry of Health and Welfare)
- Assess and monitor the reimbursement status of competitors and identify risks and opportunities for market access
- Support product eligibility in public tenders by ensuring inclusion in relevant national or regional reimbursement lists
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government affairs, reimbursement, market access, or related roles within the healthcare or medical device industry
- Solid understanding of Korean reimbursement processes and health policy landscape
- Proven track record in managing HTA submissions, reimbursement applications, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Korean and English
- Strategic mindset, analytical ability, and cross-functional collaboration skills
