Job Description

The Go to Market Enablement Manager is responsible for bridging the gap between Product, Marketing, and Renaissance’s Field Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure they are equipped for highly efficacious customer engagements. This is achieved by understanding the needs of customer-facing team members, cross-functionally collaborating with product and marketing teams to define go to market strategies and providing domain expertise in both frontline sales support and cross-functional projects aligned to the business’s key go to market priorities. This role is highly collaborative and depends on trusting relationships to innovate and define cross-functional action plans. The Go to Market Enablement Manager will also have critical knowledge of Multi-Tiered Systems of educational research and educational settings. 

As a Go to Market Enablement Manager you will:

  • Cross-functionally co-design organizational priorities, collaborating on the determination of market entrance, market need, and market value for proposed solutions and enablement alignment to those solutions. 
  • Understand Field Sales and Customer Success business plans and priorities; leverage sales and program data to recommend clear, strategic, and prioritized enablement plans for core business priorities that have business impact across go to market, skills training, and knowledge transfer.
  • Assess and map needs for field and customer success enablement, including playbooks, checklists, battlecards, etc. for assigned product and/or solution sets.
  • Represent Field Sales and Customer Success at internal meetings, entailing a deep knowledge of role functionality and resource need for both sales and Customer Success. 
  • Launch and co-design sales and retention campaigns and provide execution support, scoping required assets for internal enablement of campaigns.
  • Proactively build credibility and trust in partnering with senior executive stakeholders in Field Sales, Customer Success, Sales Operations, Product, and Marketing, among others
  • Deliver recommendations that serve go to market leadership in achieving their plans, connecting the dots between enablement, sales goals, marketing, product alignment, and other strategic initiatives impacting the business. Many times this includes presenting to senior leadership and collaborating with senior leader teams to understand and identify needs to address. 
  • Align action plans across product, sales, and marketing to drive business, including but not limited to leading cross-functional teams, understanding critical financial metrics, and operationalizing new resources within both existing and new systems. 
  • Deliver impact while operating in a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

Qualifications

For this role as a Go to Market Enablement Manager, you should have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales skills enablement, coaching enablement, and/or solutions readiness
  • 5+ years’ in-depth experience and understanding of PK-12 settings, which may include K-12 school or district level leadership experience 
  • Operational effectiveness, with the ability to make data driven decisions
  • Proven capability to deliver and deploy sales programs and initiatives that drive behavior change over time
  • Experience in a SaaS business, educational technology experience highly preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of a product vertical or discipline aligned to Renaissance Learnings solutions 
  • Ability to navigate complex, multi-disciplinary environments, bringing key stakeholders together to collectively deliver on business goals

Salary Range: $90,400 to $124,400 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
