We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition / Talent Management professional who is eager to take the next step and grow into broader Talent & Learning responsibilities.

 

Job Description

Your Mission

As a Global Talent Manager, you enable the growth of TOMRA Recycling by leading the global Talent Acquisition function (including two direct reports) and ensuring high‑quality hiring for critical and senior roles. You translate business needs into effective global strategies across hiring, development, performance, and succession — building a strong internal talent pipeline and supporting a modern, learning‑oriented culture. Alongside leading TA, you progressively take on broader Talent Management and Learning responsibilities across the full employee lifecycle.

You combine strong TA expertise with curiosity and ambition to grow into Talent & Learning topics such as succession planning, capability development, performance evaluation, and organizational diagnostics.

 

What you will do

Recruitment Operations & Process Excellence

  • Lead and oversee all global recruitment operations and ensure consistent, efficient, and high‑quality hiring processes across locations.
  • Continuously improve recruitment workflows, governance, and operating models.
  • Personally lead hiring for senior and critical roles.
  • Strengthen and improve the technical enablement of our recruitment system (SmartRecruiters).
  • Support our transformation toward a skills‑based organization.

Talent Development & Performance Management

  • Integrate Talent Acquisition with key Talent & Learning areas (70‑20‑10, development, competency frameworks, talent calibrations, diagnostics).
  • Manage all data related to succession planning, internal mobility, and talent evaluation.
  • Support organizational diagnostics based on qualitative and quantitative data.

Data, Systems & Process Ownership

  • Define, review, and analyze recruitment KPIs to drive data‑informed decision‑making
  • Own and communicate the global Talent Acquisition dashboard
  • Oversee HRMS and LMS from a talent perspective
  • Lead the preparation for our future Talent Marketplace solution

Leadership & Alignment

  • Lead and develop members of the Talent Acquisition team
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high‑performance culture
  • Work closely with P&O Business Partners and business leaders to understand capability needs
  • Balance global alignment with practical local execution

 

Qualifications

What You bring to the team

  • Bachelor´s or Master’s degree in business or equivalent fields, or a similar education
  • Several years of experience in a P&O/HR role with strong exposure to Talent Acquisition and Talent Management
  • First leadership responsibility and readiness to grow as a people leader
  • Experience working in international and multicultural environments
  • Strong analytical, consulting, and communication skills
  • Hands‑on, results‑driven working style with high accountability
  • Inspiring and winning mentality that shows ability to translate talent impact into business outcome 
  • Learning agility and curiosity to constantly look for better ways to do things (driven by innovation and technology) 
  • Fluent in English and German
