Global Solution Lead - Data Resilience & Compliance

Our Global Solution Leads (GSL) are key members of the Presales organisation at Hitachi Vantara. They are the ultimate technical authority in their field, possessing deep technical and competitor expertise – in this case Data Resiliency and Compliance. They also have exceptional communication & management skills enabling them to navigate multiple complex engagements whilst playing a key role in incubation & integration of new solutions/applications into the Vantara Data Resiliency & Compliance portfolio.
What you’ll be doing:
- Technical ownership/leadership from a Data Resiliency & Compliance perspective, for strategic customers/opportunities. This will also include post sales activities.
- Acting as the conduit between the field & product management/engineering ensuring the future strategy of the portfolio aligns with market now and in future.
- Act as technical thought leader & mentor: delivering innovation, insights and enablement to extend the skills of our field and partner presales communities.
- Collaborate to create a full value cycle to support customer and partner engagement with our portfolio including: Demos and PoCs with the CoE, asset creation with Product Marketing and Partner Marketing and Service wraps.
- Be one of the public faces for the portfolio helping to build the portfolio’s market presence utilizing exceptional in-person & social media communication skills.
What you bring to the team:
- You are a proven, customer facing, commercially savvy solutions professional with extensive experience in the technology, infrastructure, data management industry.
- Deep knowledge of Data Resiliency, Data Compliance domain, in particular the leading software and solutions in this arena (Commvault, Veeam, Veritas)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to adopt to the target audience (internal, external & seniority levels).
- The ability to manage multiple engagements - prioritization, planning, task delegation & attention to detail.
- Self-motivation: tenacious & comfortable working in a virtual, global team structure.
- The ability to quickly learn, understand and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, solutions and partners.
