The Global Senior Brand Manager for Eukanuba will own the global brand Identity, strategy & innovation pipeline to drive growth in key markets. This role interacts with a variety of internal & external partners Including R&D, Global activation, CMI, Graphic Chain, Digital & e-commerce, Regional and local Marketing & Sales, Legal, and research, media and creative agencies.
The Global Senior Brand Manager for Eukanuba is responsible for collaborating with key market representatives to understand local market needs, developing and implementing a global roadmap to include Brand Communications, Innovation, packaging and other brand assets, supported by research where necessary, to drive growth of the Eukanuba brand. This Is a highly visible, wide reaching role with Senior Leadership exposure, multi-regional in scope, and serves as the key global marketing lead for the brand. Entrepreneurial environment with expectation to be curious, take risks and resist the status quo. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Partners with the Global VP in development & delivery of the Global Brand Strategy
- Owns Innovation Roadmap and delivery of innovation projects including leading through all regulatory, legislative and local market requirements, using the dedicated processes and workflow tools.
- Chairs the Global Eukanuba Council to lead global brand management forums. With regional marketing representatives, establishes brand initiatives, innovation, prioritization, research and target setting/measurement for each key market.
- Owns global performance measurement and reporting Including growth, profitability and share.
- Directs Portfolio & Innovation Manager in the management of innovation projects, creation of support materials/ product stories, and development of presentations for key forums.
- Leads concept writing & testing in collaboration with CTI/CMI/Product Design/ VP
- Stakeholder management (R&D/ Packaging/ Regulatory & Legal) to ensure compliant and smooth innovation development.
- Leads annual planning and budgeting processes.
- Performs regular benchmarks in the relevant categories
- Supports Internal advocacy & brand presentations to key Market, Regional, and Global Leadership
- Manages creative, research and other relevant agencies to deliver across key markets
What are we looking for?
- Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred
- 8+ years relevant Marketing experience
- 5 years or more of Brand-building, innovation management and global deployment experience highly regarded.
- Functional Marketing experience
- Digital marketing knowledge
