The Role

Biotage is seeking a Global Product Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy and commercial success of our Drug Discovery & Development (DDD) portfolio. In this global role, you will shape product positioning, drive go‑to‑market execution, develop compelling scientific marketing content, and equip our commercial teams with the tools they need to win. You will ensure our solutions are clearly articulated, competitively differentiated, and aligned with real customer workflows across pharma, biotech, CROs, and academia.

What you’ll be doing

As the Global Product Marketing Manager DDD you will own the end-to-end marketing of your product portfolio, translating technical capabilities into compelling value propositions and enabling the commercial organization to win. Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Define product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation for the DDD portfolio.

  • Create customer-centric narratives grounded in real laboratory workflows and key pain points

  • Plan and execute global go-to-market activities for new product introductions

  • Coordinate launch readiness with product management, regional teams and MarCom

  • Produce core assets including brochures, one-pagers, technical slides, sales enablement tools and digital content

  • Shape portfolio content strategy to support global demand-generation campaigns

  • Partner with MarCom to build strong digital experiences; web pages, landing pages, webinars, customer stories and LinkedIn campaigns.

  • Work closely with Product Management to input market requirements, customer insights, and competitor intelligence into the product roadmap.

  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback and sales performance to measure impact and inform continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking a commercially minded marketer who combines strong market and product understanding with excellent communication and project management skills.

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability and a track record in product marketing or related roles.

  • Customer-focused, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate technical details into clear customer value.

  • Experienced working across global, multi-cultural teams and comfortable coordinating stakeholders at different levels.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and launch activities simultaneously.

  • Analytical, using market and sales data to inform decisions and measure success.

  • Skilled at translating complex scientific concepts into a clear customer value

  • A collaborative team player who proactively shares knowledge and supports colleagues.

Desirable experience and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of product marketing experience in life sciences, biotech, lab instrumentation, or related fields.

  • Solid understanding of lab workflows such as purification, synthesis, method development or biologics R&D.

  • Proven track record in product messaging and global launches.

  • Experience in digital marketing and demand generation.

  • Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent commercial experience.
