Global Process Technical Consultant

Ahmedabad-India

You will provide pre-sales technical, process application, automation and electrical expertise to customers to drive long-term technology adoption and conversion activities to fuel sales growth in Process industry.

You will report to the Consultant Leader and work onsite in Ahmedabad, India.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Prepare proposals for technical solutions for process applications.
  • Provide customer demos for complex product applications; Provide proof of concept.
  • Support Account Managers in customer conversion
  • Perform application note development and provide system start up support.
  • Support commercial events by delivering technical presentations/ seminars/ demos.
  • Keep updated on technical knowledge in relation with the capabilities/ application of company product.
  • Deliver process competency training to build technical sales competencies

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Min 15+ years of relevant experience in process plants working in/ leading controls and automation + Electrical disciplines
  • Contribute Professional & Technical Expertise for Process industry-related applications

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Proficiency in hands-on engineering
  • High level of expertise in Continuous and Batch Process Control which shall include knowledge of multiple ISA standards, practical experience designing and deploying control and electrical systems and solutions, High level of Application Knowledge.
  • Practical knowledge of process unit operations and typical automation requirements of such process units
  • Experience of the Process industry business drivers.
  • Intermediate level of expertise in MES/Information Solutions, Networks and Services and Solutions, with a basic understanding of automation and electrical devices.
  • Intermediate level of Industry Knowledge. and Value-based Selling Skills.
