We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 5–6 years of experience in software testing and strong expertise in Java programming and automation testing frameworks. The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements.
- Develop and enhance automation frameworks following industry best practices.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for resolution.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.
- Ensure test coverage and quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support CI/CD implementation and automated test execution.
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java.
- Good understanding of:
- Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Collections Framework
- Exception Handling
- Multithreading
- Data Structures and Algorithms
- Ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as:
- TestNG/JUnit
- Page Object Model (POM)
- Data-Driven and Hybrid Frameworks
- Experience in creating and maintaining reusable automation scripts.
- API testing and automation using Rest Assured/Postman.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems.
- Basic SQL/database testing knowledge.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Skills Required
- 5-6 years of experience in software testing
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java
- Solid understanding of OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, Data Structures and Algorithms
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit
- Experience implementing Page Object Model (POM)
- Experience building/working with Data-Driven and Hybrid automation frameworks
- Ability to develop, execute, and maintain reusable automated test scripts
- Experience supporting CI/CD and automated test execution
- API testing and automation using Rest Assured or Postman
- Knowledge of Jenkins (CI/CD tools)
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
