Horse Powertrain has 19,000 dedicated and determined employees, working in 17 manufacturing plants, and 5 R&D centers on three continents.
This role is employed by Horse Powertrain and is based at our office in Madrid, with occasional travel possible to Horse Powertrain’s other sites.

What you will be doing
Define and deliver the annual global Learning & Development plan based on skills gap and training needs analyses.
Manage end-to-end delivery of global learning programmes and initiatives.
Oversee content vendor performance, SLAs, quality standards, and delivery priorities.
Lead LMS governance, content management, data integrity, and learner experience across countries.
Coordinate the deployment and adoption of learning programmes across 12 countries through local L&D teams.
Establish and support Corporate, Industry, Technology, and AI Academies.
Monitor compliance training completion, programme effectiveness, and key L&D KPIs.
Drive continuous improvement of learning processes, technologies, and learning architecture.
What we’re looking for
A proven track record in Learning & Development programme management and LMS administration.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field; postgraduate qualification or MBA preferred.
Excellent skills in stakeholder management and cross-cultural communication.
Strong competencies in project management and HR analytics, with a collaborative approach.
Knowledge of the automotive sector, Horse Powertrain business, and our ambition to transform the industry.
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written; Spanish will be valued.
Experience managing external vendors, global learning programmes, and multiple stakeholders across countries.
Proficiency in LMS platforms, Power BI, and Microsoft Office tools.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Psychology or a related field
- Proven experience building, leading or scaling a Learning & Development function or Center of Excellence within a global organization
- Strong experience managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and owning enterprise-wide learning catalogues
- Expertise in designing learning strategies, competency frameworks and end-to-end development programs
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to influence leaders across functions and seniority levels
- Strong project management, organizational and communication skills, with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Resilient, adaptable and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with global stakeholders
- Passion for developing people, enabling organizational transformation and embedding a strong learning culture
