Global Install Project Manager

Job Description SummaryAs a Global Install IT Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IT projects supporting GEHC’s Global Install organization across the AIS (Imaging & AVS) and PCS businesses.
Working closely with business stakeholders, IT Product Managers, engineering teams, and global IT organizations, you will lead project execution for Global Install initiatives from planning through deployment.
In this role you will in charge of project planning, governance, resource coordination, risk and dependency management, and deployment planning to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Lead end-to-end execution of Global Install IT projects from initiation through deployment,

• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables,

• Monitor project health and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and changes,

• Drive projects to completion on time, within scope, and within budget.

Project Governance

• Support project governance and provide clear, timely reporting,

• Track project milestones, financials, risks, dependencies, and KPIs,

• Facilitate project reviews and decision-making forums,

• Escalate delivery risks and drive mitigation plans as needed.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Partner with IT Product Managers to execute approved initiatives and project priorities,

• Coordinate activities across engineering, architecture, cybersecurity, QA, infrastructure, vendors, and other IT teams,

• Collaborate with Global and Regional Install teams, Commercial Operations, Field Service, and other stakeholders to coordinate IT delivery supporting customer equipment installations,

• Drive resolution of cross-functional dependencies and delivery roadblocks.

Release & Deployment

• Coordinate release planning, testing, deployment, and production-readiness,

• Coordinate post-go-live stabilization and transition to ongoing support.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field

• Progressive experience in IT project management, preferably in healthcare technology, medical device, or complex capital equipment industry.

• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex installation projects from inception to completion.

• PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of medical imaging technologies (e.g., MRI, CT, X-ray) and associated installation requirements.

• Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, adapting to different cultural contexts.

• Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
