As we embark on creating a cutting-edge customer education platform, we are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join us as a Customer Education Director. This role offers the exciting opportunity to contribute strategically to the platform's development while being hands-on with operational tasks. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience for B2B SaaS customers, particularly those in the martech industry.

Job Description:

  • Strategic Contribution:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive customer education strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the unique needs of B2B SaaS customers, specifically in martech.
  • Contribute to the creation and evolution of the customer education platform from the ground up.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Take a hands-on approach, occasionally diving into operational duties such as video voiceovers.
  • Lead the hiring process for building a cohesive team, ensuring the right talent is onboarded to achieve platform goals.
  • Work closely with the Istanbul-based team to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Skill Development:
  • Upskill existing team members to ensure they stay current with industry trends and best practices.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement training programs to enhance team members' capabilities.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Working in close collaboration with a team of 4-5 professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Balance strategic contributions with individual contributions to drive project success.
  • Instructional Design and Live Training:
  • Oversee instructional design processes to create engaging and effective educational content.
  • Conduct live training sessions, ensuring a dynamic and interactive learning experience.
  • Customer Data Platform (CDP) Experience:
  • Demonstrate expertise in the Customer Data Platform (CDP) space, understanding its nuances and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the sector 6-8 years
  • Proven experience in customer education, particularly in B2B SaaS and martech.
  • Track record of strategic thinking combined with a willingness to be hands-on.
  • Strong background in instructional design and live training.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage collaborative team work, preferably in a remote work environment.
  • Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) is essential.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
