Position Description:
In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of geospatial system infrastructure, utilizing industry best practices. You will develop system hardware specifications, design strategies, documentation, and plans. Additionally, you will support the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise GIS solutions, including requirements development, data analysis, modeling, testing, and deployment.
You will coordinate with Agency IT leads to ensure systems and solutions are developed in accordance with NASA policy and align with enterprise strategies. A thorough understanding of the ESRI Enterprise platform is essential. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, including the ability to interface with various subject matter experts.

Requested Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Twelve (12) or more years of experience designing complex architectures and applications.
- At least 10 years of experience working with geospatial systems.
- IT architecting experience including documentation, configuration management, and version control.
- Experience with modern continuous integration / continuous delivery / continuous deployment (CI/CD).
Education Requirements:
- Master's Degree or higher (or Bachelor’s degree with two additional years of experience) in Geography, Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
