Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Genesys CloudCX Software Engineer to join our dynamic Information Technology and Services team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your expertise in software development and cloud computing to enhance the capabilities of our customer engagement solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud-based applications that utilize the Genesys CloudCX platform. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing scalable and secure solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering principles and experience with Genesys products. This role requires an individual who is both technically proficient and adept at collaborating seamlessly within a team environment. You will play a significant part in shaping the future of our communication solutions, ensuring they are not only robust and efficient but also exemplary in performance and user experience. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications on the Genesys CloudCX platform.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define requirements and specifications.
- Implement best practices for software development and ensure code quality through testing and peer reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Genesys CloudCX applications.
- Optimize application performance and scalability by implementing effective solutions.
- Document design processes, code changes, and application functionality for future reference.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and stand-ups.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience with Genesys CloudCX and related technologies.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or C#.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and services, particularly in a SaaS environment.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
