Job Description

  • Responsible for providing nursing care and patient support in the Radiology Department, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality diagnostic and interventional imaging services.
  • Prepare the examination and procedure rooms to ensure smooth patient services by arranging a safe and comfortable environment, checking that radiology equipment and nursing instruments are functioning properly, and ensuring the availability of medications, contrast media, emergency equipment, and other necessary medical supplies.
  • Provide nursing care in accordance with standard nursing practice by assessing patients before, during, and after radiological examinations or interventional procedures, monitoring patients' physical and psychological conditions, vital signs, and promptly responding to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
  • Assist patients before and during radiological examinations and interventional procedures by preparing them physically and psychologically, verifying patient identity and examination requirements, positioning patients correctly, administering prescribed medications or contrast agents as needed, and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Provide post-procedure nursing care by monitoring patient recovery, observing for complications or contrast reactions, giving discharge instructions and health education when appropriate, completing required documentation, and coordinating referrals or follow-up care as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation, including patient assessments, nursing interventions, medication and contrast administration records, procedure documentation, and incident reporting to support effective communication and continuity of care.
  • Implement and comply with quality improvement initiatives, patient safety standards, infection prevention and control measures, and radiation safety protocols. Participate in departmental training, competency development, and continuous quality improvement programs to support hospital and departmental performance targets.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor of Nursing and Ners Professional Program (S.Kep., Ns.).
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Level I Clinical Nurse.
  • Completed Basic Trauma & Cardiac Life Support (BTCLS) training.
  • Preferred: Experienced as a Radiology Nurse or in diagnostic/interventional radiology services
