We're looking for a talented and passionate Game Designer & Game Lead to join Wildlife's New Games team. Wildlife is constantly building and releasing new titles with the goal of bringing fun to billions of people around the world. The company has already surpassed the mark of 4 billion downloads. The New Games Product team is accountable for defining which new games will be produced and building these products in partnership with engineers and artists. These are the products that will drive the company's growth for the following years. 

As a Wildlife Game Designer & Game Lead, you will define new game theses to be validated by the executives team, you will also be accountable for the game's vision throughout the development cycle, from prototyping to global launch. You will use player feedback, data analysis and accurate business sense to improve the game's performance.

What you'll do
  • Using market research, propose new game theses that can be played by millions of people for multiple years
  • Define the new game's vision and product roadmap (adapting it if needed as we gather more data about the product)
  • Design the game's main features and write their specifications
  • In partnership with the game's art leader and the distribution team define the game theme and art style
  • Review game design decisions made by the rest of the team (artists and engineers)
  • Coordinate deliveries within the core team and with related disciplines (engineering, art, distribution, data science);
  • Provide product and game design leadership through your own experience, competitor analyses, playtests, player feedback, data analysis, etc.) within the product's core team;
  • Analyze the performance of new versions and features released. Continuously refine the roadmap based on new findings
What you'll need
  • Experience in product or game design roles within game development (shipping games in any platform, leading product development in game jams or hackathons)
  • Passionate about games, you have been a player your whole life
  • Flexibility to work in iterative development cycles with frequent releases
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong data analysis skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience shipping mobile games
  • Programming skills that allow you to develop prototypes independently
  • Experience using AI tools for art creation or programming
