Job DescriptionThe Role
Hiring Team: Treasury Money Movement. The team's mission is to effectively distribute Treasury operational funds across hundreds of bank accounts timely, at minimal cost & at scale
We are looking for a Fullstack Engineer who thrives on building resilient, distributed systems and great user interfaces. In this role, you will be the architect of the services that power our global treasury operations. You will design mission-critical systems that automate the movement of massive volumes of money, ensuring our "plumbing" is invisible, fast, and fail-safe.
We are currently only considering local candidates as relocation support is not provided. For local candidates we are able to support transfer of visa sponsorship!
What You'll Do
- Architect Distributed Systems: Design and maintain scalable microservices (primarily in Java/Spring Boot) capable of handling billions in monthly volume with zero downtime.
- Product Design: Propose and build the user interfaces to allow operations work efficiently and safe.
- Solve Global Logistics: Develop the logic that handles real-world constraints, such as bank-specific API quirks, holiday schedules, and regional settlement cut-offs.
- Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Build and optimize the data infrastructure that ensures every movement of money is accounted for, creating a source of truth for our data-driven decision-making.
What do you need?

3+ years of experience with Java or other JVM-based languages, and hands-on experience with the Spring framework.
3+ years of experience with React.
A track record of writing clean, maintainable code and a strong belief in best practices like code reviews, open feedback, and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with backend development, including databases (SQL/NoSQL), synchronous/asynchronous communication, and distributed systems.

A knack for identifying opportunities to deliver value faster and providing constructive feedback on product and design decisions.
