Full Stack Developer

Who we are:

Zact, a leading fintech innovator specializing in cutting-edge payments apps, is hiring an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both Angular frontend development and Java backend development using Spring frameworks. This role requires a professional who can work across the entire technology stack and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Where you are:

We are a fully remote company, but time zones do matter. We are currently focusing on hiring in India, Poland, Greece, Hungary, the Czech Republic, or Slovakia.

What you’ll do:

• Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of web applications
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
• Optimize application performance and ensure high code quality using tools like SonarQube
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack
• Contribute to technical documentation and API specifications

Required skills:

Frontend

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Angular
• Proficiency in Angular 17+ and its core features
• Strong experience with RxJS and reactive programming concepts
• Expertise in Angular Material for building responsive UI components
• Experience with SonarQube for code quality management
• Solid understanding of TypeScript and modern JavaScript

Backend

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and related Spring frameworks
• Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Understanding of microservices architecture

Preferred skills:

• Experience with NX monorepo tooling
• Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI for API documentation
• Knowledge of ServiceWorker for Progressive Web Applications
• Experience with Angular Signals for state management
• Scala programming language experience
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
