About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong QA Coaching skills to join our collaborative engineering team in Belgium.
This is a unique opportunity for a developer who enjoys both building software and improving quality practices across the team. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure high-quality, reliable releases while helping establish a strong testing culture.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Foundation
Understand and navigate our full-stack architecture, including frontend, backend, APIs, and databases.
Review code through Git/GitHub pull requests to assess code quality and test coverage.
Support developers in debugging and problem-solving activities.
Leverage AI-powered tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to accelerate code reviews, troubleshooting, and development workflows.
Quality Assurance
Design, write, and maintain test plans and test cases.
Perform manual, exploratory, and validation testing.
Establish and maintain lightweight testing standards, checklists, and QA best practices.
Monitor features in production and assist with troubleshooting and issue investigation.
Ensure testing activities are incorporated throughout the development lifecycle.
Coaching & Collaboration
Coach developers on testing techniques and quality-focused development practices.
Review test coverage, identify gaps, and highlight potential edge cases.
Explain testing rationale through code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative sessions.
Partner with Product Managers and Designers to define clear acceptance criteria and testable requirements.
Promote a culture of ownership, quality, and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Full Stack Developer with solid knowledge of modern web application architectures.
Strong understanding of software quality assurance principles and testing methodologies.
Experience reviewing code and working with Git/GitHub workflows.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple layers of an application.
Excellent communication and coaching skills.
Experience working in Agile development environments.

Primary Location Base Pay Range: Belgium - Ghent €54,400 - €90,800.
