Why this role mattersThe primary goal of this role is to develop and deliver high-quality, maintainable front-end features that enhance the user experience of Exness products. The engineer independently drives feature implementation, ensures code quality through testing and reviews, and collaborates across teams to maintain scalable and efficient systems. The role contributes to continuous improvement of team practices, adoption of modern technologies, and consistent delivery of reliable product functionality.
The role is based in our Limassol office, Cyprus. In case of relocation, we offer full relocation support for you and your family to make your move smooth and worry-free.
What you'll actually do- Consistently deliver core product features that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Write clean, secure, efficient code, perform thorough testing and debugging, and ensure seamless integration with other components while optimizing for scalability and addressing technical debt.
- Write well-documented code and automation tests with strong coverage. Improve testing practices across the team.
- Conduct code reviews, offer constructive feedback, and maintain documentation that meets company standards. Constantly work to improve code quality.
- Tackle complex architectural and performance problems.
- Prepare clear technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
- Promote and apply clean code principles and best engineering practices.
- Automate repetitive tasks and contribute to performance optimizations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for beneficial adoption.
- Participate in technical interviews (if applicable), share knowledge with peers, and contribute to improving team processes and standards.
- Suggest and drive technical improvements.
- Support onboarding and ongoing growth of team members.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to improve usability.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience, preferably with real-time events software development or distributed systems
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- Strong knowledge of React Native
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience with CSS, including CSS preprocessors
- Experience with build tools such as webpack, vite, esbuild etc.
- Experience with test tools such as Jest, Vitest, and Playwright
- Experience with rapid prototyping and AI tools for development (e.g., Cursor/Claude)
- Experience with iOS Keychain and Android Keystore is a plus
- Experience with encryption protocols is a plus
- In-depth understanding of the entire web development process: design, development, and deployment
- English level B2 or higher
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Proactive attitude toward continuous learning and technical improvement
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while aligning with team goals
