To strengthen our Product & Engineering Unit within the Solution Design Team, we are looking for a

Fullstack Engineer – Frontend Focus (React & TypeScript) (m/f/d)

(Hybrid in Cologne or remote in Berlin | Full-time | Permanent Contract)

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript

• Create intuitive, accessible, and high-performance user experiences for custom features and products used by our large and enterprise customers

• Collaborate closely with Sales Consultants, other full-stack engineers, and cross-functional product teams

• Deliver new features from concept and implementation to production rollout

• Improve application performance, code quality, testing, and maintainability

• Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, engineering standards, and best practices

Your Profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Media Informatics, or a comparable field; equivalent practical experience is equally welcome

• At least two years of professional experience developing modern web applications with React and TypeScript

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable frontend solutions

• Experience integrating APIs and collaborating with backend services in distributed systems, preferably Node.js or Java based or the willingness to learn

• Familiarity with Git, GitHub, and modern CI/CD workflows

• A collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and professional proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus

While your primary focus will be React and TypeScript, you'll work in an environment that includes:

• Frontend: React, TypeScript

• Backend: Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, Python

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Terraform

• Databases: DynamoDB, PostgreSQL

• Developer Experience: GitHub, CircleCI, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
