As a Hair and Makeup Artist, your focus is to help on-air talent look their best when appearing on TV or in front of audiences. You'll apply basic and complex techniques as well as utilize your creativity to ensure excellent visual results. You're role is vital in making our talent feel the confidence to put on an amazing show.
WHAT OUR HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTISTS ENJOY MOST

• Being responsible for maintaining and ordering their supplies
• Creating multiple styling options for clients while prioritizing their health
• Ensuring our client's hair and makeup is looking great on and off screen
• Working with a wide range of on-air talent

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM
Required Qualifications

• Experience: Makeup application and hair styling: 3 years
• Education: Associate's degree or training program in cosmetology
• Technical Skills: Familiar with makeup and hair techniques for broadcast television
• Skills: Demonstrated creativity, organization, and attention to detail
• Schedule: Some travel required
• Write and speak Spanish fluently

Preferred Qualifications

• Effective collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to build client relationships
• NY Cosmetology License

The base pay for this position generally is between
$25.90 and $56.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
