The Cybersecurity Risk Manager under Fraud Risk Oversight is responsible for leading cybersecurity-related investigations, identifying fraud and technology risks, and strengthening enterprise-wide fraud risk governance. This role plays a critical part in protecting the organization from internal and external cybersecurity threats through investigation, risk assessment, reporting, and fraud awareness initiatives.
You will be responsible for the following:
Cybersecurity & Fraud Investigations
Conduct internal and external cybersecurity investigations related to fraud cases.
Perform technical investigative activities such as IP tracing, digital forensics, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security reviews.
Monitor fraud and cybersecurity incident reports to identify emerging fraud patterns and threat groups.
Collaborate with Legal, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure proper case handling and closure.
Escalate complex and sensitive cases to senior leadership when necessary.
Risk Oversight & Governance
Assist in enhancing Enterprise Fraud Risk Oversight frameworks and activities.
Identify and evaluate cybersecurity and fraud risk exposures across business operations.
Provide timely incident reporting and monthly operational updates to leadership and executive stakeholders.
Support enterprise risk embedding and recommend risk-based decisions to stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Awareness
Contribute ideas and improvements to strengthen fraud monitoring and cybersecurity processes.
Maintain and manage internal case monitoring tools and reports.
Lead or support fraud awareness initiatives, seminars, and workshops across the organization.
Continuously update knowledge on emerging fraud techniques and cybersecurity trends.
Stakeholder & External Coordination
Coordinate with government and law enforcement agencies when required.
Support cross-functional teams on cybersecurity-related ad hoc initiatives and projects.
We are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in IT risk management, IT audit, information security, compliance, or governance.
Strong knowledge of:
IT General Controls
Cyber/Information Security and Data Privacy
IT Operations and Governance
Business Continuity Management
SDLC and Change Management
IT Application Controls
Familiarity with IT frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ITIL, NIST-CSF, and ISO 27001.
Strong analytical and investigative skills in identifying IT and security risks.
Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, COBIT, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or related credentials.
Experience reviewing AWS cloud security and operations environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools.
Experience with SOC1/SOC2 or data privacy reviews.
Ethical hacking certification is an advantage.
