Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working directly with clients, solving problems, and helping small businesses succeed? At myFranchise Bookkeeper, we are looking for a highly organized and relationship-driven Franchise Account Manager to become a trusted financial partner to franchise business owners across the country.

This is more than a bookkeeping role. As a Franchise Account Manager, you’ll combine accounting expertise with client relationship management to help franchisees better understand their financial performance, improve decision-making, and stay financially organized. You’ll work closely with entrepreneurs and franchise operators while becoming an expert in franchise-focused bookkeeping and financial operations.

If you enjoy building relationships, working independently, and making a direct impact on client success, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career within a fast-paced and expanding organization.

What You’ll DoBecome a Trusted Financial Advisor
  • Serve as the primary bookkeeping and financial contact for a portfolio of franchisee clients
  • Build strong client relationships through responsive communication and proactive support
  • Help franchise owners understand their financial statements and business performance
Lead Month-End Financial Operations
  • Manage daily bookkeeping activities in QuickBooks Online, including sales, expenses, payroll, AP/AR, and reconciliations
  • Close monthly financials accurately and on time by the 5th business day each month
  • Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow reports, and franchise-specific reporting packages
Conduct Monthly Financial Review Meetings
  • Lead monthly financial review calls with franchisees to discuss trends, profitability, expenses, and operational performance
  • Translate financial data into clear, actionable business insights for non-financial business owners
  • Provide guidance that helps franchisees make informed financial decisions
Drive Accuracy, Organization & Process Excellence
  • Maintain compliance with franchise system accounting standards and reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and leverage automation tools
  • Collaborate with internal leadership and Network Managers on complex accounting situations and escalations
What Makes This Role Exciting?

This role offers the opportunity to work directly with business owners and become an important part of their success story. Rather than performing repetitive back-office accounting tasks, you’ll serve as a strategic partner who helps franchisees better understand and improve their businesses.

You’ll gain exposure to multiple franchise operations, strengthen your financial consulting skills, and develop expertise in client management, bookkeeping technology, and business operations. Every day brings new challenges, new conversations, and opportunities to make a measurable impact. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys both numbers and people.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

The ideal candidate is someone who combines strong accounting fundamentals with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. They enjoy staying organized, solving problems, and helping others succeed.

Successful candidates are:

  • Naturally proactive and highly dependable
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Skilled at explaining financial concepts in a clear and supportive way
  • Client-focused with a strong customer service mindset
