The Opportunity
What Your Week Actually Looks Like
Who Thrives Here
Why This Seat, Specifically
Every founder has ideas that need to move faster than the org chart allows. That's where you come in.
You'll sit right next to Techdome's CEO and CTO — not taking notes, but taking ownership. When a founder says "we need to figure this out," you're the one who turns that sentence into a plan, a timeline, and eventually, a result.
This isn't an EA role dressed up with a fancier title. It's a real seat in the room where strategy gets decided — and the responsibility to make sure it doesn't stay just talk.
Turning Ideas Into Action
- Sit in on strategic conversations with the CEO/CTO and walk out with owners, timelines, and next steps — not just meeting notes
- Chase down cross-functional projects across Engineering, Marketing, BD, and Ops until they actually close
- Spot the bottleneck before it becomes a fire drill
Client & Business Facing Work
- Build pitch decks, proposals, and briefs that founders can walk into a room with
- Join client meetings and BD conversations — and follow up like it's your deal too
- Research markets, competitors, and customers, then boil it down to "here's what we should do"
Making the Machine Smarter
- Find the repetitive, manual stuff — research, reporting, documentation — and fix it with AI and automation
- Own special projects that don't fit neatly into any one team's job description
You've spent 6 months to 1.5 years somewhere — a Founder's Office, BizOps, Strategy, BD, or a startup role — where you learned that nobody's coming to hold your hand.
You're the type who:
- Sees a gap and closes it, instead of waiting to be assigned
- Is genuinely comfortable when priorities shift mid-week and nobody's written the playbook yet
- Can build a sharp deck in PowerPoint, model something in Excel/Sheets, and use AI tools as a default, not an afterthought
- Keeps confidential things confidential, and juggles five priorities without dropping the details on any of them
Bonus points if you've got:
- Startup or founder's office scars (the good kind)
- Client-facing or BD experience
- Used Notion, Asana, or Trello like a second language
- A sense of how AI, SaaS, Healthcare, Fintech, or Enterprise Tech businesses actually work
- An MBA — but a track record of getting things done matters more than the degree
You won't be reading about how decisions get made at a company — you'll be in the room, then you'll be the reason those decisions turn into outcomes. Full exposure to strategy, tech, AI, BD, clients, and operations, with nowhere to hide and nothing handed to you pre-solved.
If your instinct when you hit a problem is "I'll figure it out" — this role was built for you.
