As a Food & Beverage Waiter, you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
ResponsibilitiesHere's what you'll do during a typical day:
- -Greet the guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explained any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guests awareness
-Record the details of the order from guests, repeating the order to the guest to check for accuracy
-Manage guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
-Serve Alcoholic/non-Alcoholic beverages in conjunction with licensing/liquor regulations for residents and non-residents
-Replenish beverages as necessary and check with guests for over all satisfaction.
-Ensure knowledge of menu and all products
-Must have a full knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relation and etiquette
-Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
-Ability to keep up table maintenance during the service.
-Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 40 lbs, through crowded room on a continuous basis throughout the shift.
-Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures to pre-check order and close out the check.
-Check stations before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness.
-Follow correct reporting procedures if faced with issues
-Ensure Food and Beverage orders are of a consistently good standard and delivered in a timely manner
-Monitor the quality food and beverage being served on the table.
-Practice Hilton Grooming standards including uniform dress code, cleanliness and personal hygiene
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legis
