Flexcube Technical Consultant

Main Objectives and Activities

• End to end Development, customization and Support of Oracle FLEXCUBE UBS 14.7 (at least 14.5 and above)
• Install and configure the FLEXCUBE UBS application from version 14.x to latest version on all platforms.
  
• Implement/install all Interfaces and Gateways of FCUBS.
• Configuring and usage of ODT/RAD/OBX tool.
• Prepare design specifications documentation as solution for user requirements.
• Development and Customization of OBBRN and Rest/WS APIs
• Code and Deliver PL/SQL objects by using Coding Best Practices
• Use Source Control Tool (GitLab) by following SDLC process.
• Use Test Automation Tool – UI and API regression testing.
• Ensure Test Process Governance adherence
• Support End of Day Process
• Understanding of banking Domain from a FLEXCUBE point of view, Knowledge of CASA, Retail, Loans, Trade, Switch, OBMA and OBPM.
• Articulate problem and identify quick and effective solution by using excellent debugging techniques for fixing bugs and performance issues
• Should report progress of the assignments regularly.
• Should Interact with customers from both onsite and offshore.
  
• Ability to work on tight deadlines under pressure
  
• Ability to create and maintain strong working relationship with colleagues and/or customers.
  
• Good Communication Skills and Team work.
  

Education

·       Bachelors or Masters / University degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.

Language skills

• Must possess excellent communication skills in English (both written and oral).

 Experience and Skills Required

• MUST Minimum 2+ years of hands on experience in Development/customization of FLEXCUBE products (FCUBS 14.x and latest) Version.
  
• MUST Minimum 5+ years of hands on experience on Flexcube UBS
  
• Development and Customization of OBBRN and Rest/WS APIs
  
• Being part of FLEXCUBE UBS Implementation/upgrade/migration project .
  
• Hands on experience on SQL, PL/SQL, Java, J2EE, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Web Services, JMS, Unix, JavaScript, XML, XSL, XSD, HTML, RAD tool, Spring Boot
  
• Working experience on Web and Application Servers (WebLogic).
  
• Problem-solving and good analytical skills
  
• Experienced in direct customer interactions from both onsite and offshore.
  
• Ability to work on tight deadlines under pressure
  
• Ability to create and maintain strong working relationship with colleagues and/or customers.
  
• Good Communication Skills and Team work.
  
• FLEXCUBE knowledge on corporate, retail modules and interfaces around the FLEXCUBE.
• Basic Functional Knowledge (i.e. Accounting, Letters Of Credit, Loans and Deposits, Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Bills and Collections, Fund Transfer, Payments and Collections, Securities, Data Entry, Accounts …).
