ARC Technologies LLC, a Hexcel company, is the leading manufacturer of radio frequency (RF) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) absorbing materials for defense and wireless applications worldwide and part of Hexcel, a global leader in advanced composites technology.
Hexcel is currently seeking a Finisher at our Amesbury, MA location.
Pay Range: $22.48 - $26.75 per hour
The Finisher is responsible for the final touches on a variety of products. They clean, debur, mark and prepare packaging for QA inspection. Finishers work in a team environment to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Remove excess material from products using sanders, grinders, or other tools
Inspect products for defects or imperfections and report any issues to supervisors/leads
Package finished products according to specific instructions and quality standards
Collaborate with other team members to ensure production quotas are achieved
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Parts are periodically measured with micrometers and gauges. Deburring tools are used to clean until any flaws are corrected
Proactively participate in our safety-first culture
Accurately record manufacturing data using provided software
Qualifications:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent, required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred
Must have good attention to detail and be able to follow written directions
Must have the ability to stand 8 hrs. per day
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including but not limited to proper use of PPEs, safe ergonomic practices
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
