Copper River Technologies is seeking a Systems Specialist to join our team in Alexandria, VA.  This position will support the Department of Defense's, Defense Agencies Initiative (DAIAccounting/Finance & Budget effort, supporting end users throughout the DoD, via email and phone calls.

Successful candidates have a background in Systems Analysis, Customer Service, Microsoft Office Suite and 6-12 months exposure to Service Desk applications, with preferred background in financial systems.

The candidate shall assist in Triaging Financial and Systems issues for end users via email and phone calls, utilizing the Government's REMEDY service tools for this task. The candidate must prioritize issues based on the Government’s assessment of the severity of the problem, tracked, and responses provided to POCs in a timely manner. The candidate shall provide training to customers to support the implementation and sustainment of DAI Financials end-to-end integration and all resources and activities required to ensure operational functionality.

This position is onsite, full-time in Alexandria, VA for the first 90 days and then will support a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Tracking and Maintaining Customer Feedback.
  • Developing proactive workflows to minimize incoming incidents.
  • Developing Financial Newsletters for dissemination to a wide range of end users.
  • Assist in establishing a process to standardize all the information designated for dissemination either external or internal, including design and publication of booklets and/or other communication materials for public and internal audiences, and hosting of any communication working groups.
  • Training materials will include functional work streams and leverage User Productivity Kit (UPK) functionality provided by PMO.
  • Collect and maintain data sets required for DAI functionality (user contact information, access, and roles, DoDAACs, Unique Entity Identifier (UEI), or CAGE codes, etc.). 
  • Provide the Program Manager weekly and monthly reports to with details of the problems reported, resolution, and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain training materials as required for DAI users.
  • Maintain a list of all DAI users, the user’s DAI responsibilities, the training status of each user, and which site the DAI user supports.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a Technical or Financial Field is preferred, or relevant military experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
  • Preferred Skills/Experience:
    • Fast-paced environment

    • Systems Support using Oracle platforms
    • Development of knowledge libraries
