Job Description Summary

As a Specialist, you’ll be responsible for the daily resolution of various cases and suspense accounts. You’ll need to reconcile expenses and payables for the major lines of business. You’ll also have opportunities to research and analyze reporting and provide workable solutions to processing problems.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collects, analyzes, verifies, researches and recommends solutions to processing and booking problems and reports through daily analysis.

  • Balances and reconciles various cases and suspense account to the general ledger.

  • Prepares and analyzes financial reports and statements.

  • Ensures accuracy of reporting and reconciliation for various businesses, products and functions.

  • Trains and cross-trains other team members on work functions and processing procedures.

  • Acts as technical source to answer questions from other departments.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationship: Reports to Manager/Director.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance or related field.

Experience: Two years of experience in accounting, finance, tax reporting or customer service.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate both internally and externally. Ability to set work priorities that conform with established standards.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and HR Business Partner.

The expected starting salary range for Financial Services Reporting and Reconciliation Analyst : $49,100.00 - $73,700.00

Skills Required

  • Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance or related field.
  • Two years of experience in accounting, finance, tax reporting or customer service.
