The Team

The Financial (Solutions) Sales Specialist (FSS) will increase Cisco sales and financing volumes by effectively providing a range of creative payment solutions to Cisco customers.

The FSS will be closely involved in customer negotiations and communicates with the Cisco salesforce and with Cisco partners to solicit their support in seeing opportunities for Cisco.

Moreover the FSS educates Cisco sales colleagues and partners to understand how creative financial solutions can increase, build or pull forward sales opportunities. The individual will work closely with Cisco customers and partners, building relationships with finance and business owners, as well as supporting the transformation to new business models.

Role & Responsibilities

In this exciting, fast paced role as a Financial Solutions Specialist, you will:

  • Align closely with Cisco's Priorities and Initiatives within the sales geography.

  • Main focus will be Enterprise, Commercial & Public Sector Segments in Sweden and Finland.

  • Build and maintain relationships with Cisco Sales Leaders and account managers.

  • Build high level relationships with Cisco strategic partners and support the transformation to managed services / as a Service models.

  • Where needed work closely together with Finance Partners on the enablement and execution of transactions

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual targets

  • Provide creative deal structuring for strategic sales opportunities

  • Present, negotiate and close financial solutions, carry out documentation to Cisco Capital's guidelines including preparing internal paperwork necessary to turn around a financial transaction (e.g. credit application, legal term sheet etc.)

  • Connect with and train Cisco colleagues and Cisco Partner account managers

  • Be part of the business planning of selected accounts and strategic Cisco partners planning

  • Maintain awareness of competitor activities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Sales Expertise: 5-10 years of proven track record with a "hunter" mentality, focused on developing greenfield opportunities and solution-led selling with customers and partners.

  • Relationship Management: Strong ability to build relationships with the confidence to engage C-level executives and collaborate across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of commercial finance models (Pay as you Grow, Software Financing, and more traditional forms of payment over time), financial mathematics, pricing, and IFRS/accounting principles.

  • Communication: Professional fluency in Swedish and English (additional Finnish language skills are an advantage).

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and AI-driven productivity tools.
