Within 30 Days You’ll:
- Progress through our Ramp Camp (ChowNow’s New Hire Onboarding Experience)
- Have met with the broader team, and established relationships with your colleagues in the Finance Department and peers in departments you’ll be working closely with
- Work with the Finance team to develop a thorough understanding of the current forecast model and regular financial reporting needs
- Develop a deep understanding of the ChowNow operating model and its financial implications and how to capture those dynamics in an optimized financial model
Within 60 Days You’ll:
- Train under the Finance management team to update and maintain current forecast model
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses independently with input from Sr Director of FP&A
- Work with our Data team (Team DnA) and Accounting to develop and generate regular financial reporting
- In partnership with Finance leaders, implement an FP&A Planning tool
Within 90 Days You’ll:
- Take full ownership of the company’s financial model
- Provide monthly financial updates to board on company’s performance
- Conduct monthly budget to actual reviews with the company’s various departments
- Provide insights and recommendations gained from various analyses
- Own, maintain and run the FP&A planning tool
- Create and maintain a long range plan for the company.
You Should Apply If You:
- Have 5+ years experience in a combination of Financial Planning & Analysis, investment banking, private equity investing or similar role
- Possess advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Able to build three- statement financial model
- Have strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions proactively while working with minimal direction.
- Are comfortable in a fast-paced, scrappy work environment and you’re not afraid to ask probing questions
- Have a high attention to detail as deliverables will often be presented to senior management where accuracy is essential
- Have strong presentation skills as you will be required to communicate complex information in a simplified manner
- Have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with employees of all levels
- Have a proven ability to make data-informed decisions and thrive in a dynamic environment under short timelines with changing priorities
- Have a background in B2B SaaS is preferred but not required
- Have experience managing and operating an FP&A planning software for SMBs is a plus
