About the Role

The Interim Finance Analyst will lead a high-impact 10-week engagement focused on building and refining complex financial models to support strategic decision-making, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives. This role will work closely with Finance, FP&A, Operations, and business leadership teams to translate large, complex datasets into actionable financial insights and scalable modeling frameworks.

This opportunity is ideal for a highly analytical finance professional with strong experience in advanced financial modeling, cost structures, and executive-level financial analysis within a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and validating robust driver-based financial models across multiple business units and functions
• Translating operational and financial data into scalable and flexible modeling frameworks
• Analyzing cost structures to identify efficiency opportunities, cost drivers, and savings opportunities
• Developing scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses to support strategic business decisions
• Consolidating and cleansing data from ERP systems, financial systems, and operational datasets
• Ensuring data integrity and consistency across all models and reporting outputs
• Producing actionable insights and executive-level recommendations based on financial analysis
• Presenting findings in a clear and concise format for senior leadership audiences
• Partnering with Finance, FP&A, Operations, and business leaders to align assumptions and modeling requirements
• Facilitating discussions around assumptions, risks, opportunities, and financial impacts
• Delivering end-to-end financial models with flexible assumptions and scalable outputs
• Documenting model logic, drivers, methodologies, and processes for internal handoff
• Supporting knowledge transfer activities and additional financial analyses as needed

Requirements

• Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Showing completion of, or current enrollment in, an MBA or other graduate-level business program
• Having 5+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Strategic Finance, or related financial analysis roles
• Demonstrating a proven track record building complex financial models in large business environments
• Showing advanced Excel skills including macros, Power Query, or similar tools
• Understanding cost accounting principles, allocation methodologies, and financial planning processes
• Working effectively with large, complex datasets across multiple systems and sources
• Communicating complex financial analysis clearly to non-finance stakeholders and leadership teams
• Demonstrating strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Engagement Details

• Duration: 10-week contract engagement
• Type: Contract / Project-Based / Interim
• Start Date: Immediate / TBD
• Location: Remote with travel to Florham Park, NJ and Atlanta, GA
• Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% travel to NJ and GA

• Providing high-quality model outputs that support business decision-making
• Receiving positive stakeholder feedback regarding clarity, usability, and impact of insights
• Successfully transferring knowledge and documentation to internal teams

This is a 10-week engagement. The salary listed below is reflected on an annualized basis.

Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information. For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition, Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage, voluntary dental and vision programs, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is ($72,000 – $115,000)
