About the Job
We are seeking a Financial Controller to join our finance team of nine in Kolding. In this role, you’ll help shape our financial performance, support decision-making, and collaborate with teams across the organization. You’ll work closely together with our global sales organization located in Kolding, to ensure cost tracking, forecasts, insights, and reports are clear, actionable, and aligned with our business goals.
You’ll focus on driving progress, identifying opportunities to improve processes, supporting smarter ways of working, and helping the business grow. Collaboration is essential: you’ll partner with colleagues across the company and within Finance to optimize performance and share best practices.
Your Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with our sales organization, business unit managers and their teams to provide insights and drive improvements.
• Analyze and present financial data, including Sales and Cost Controlling, to help teams understand and improve financial processes.
• Lead sales forecasting and budgeting, enabling effective business planning.
• Act as the main contact for our Finance Shared Service Center in Krakow, Poland, working together to enhance our processes.
• Oversee fixed assets, including approval processes, month-end close, and forecasting activities.
• Manage VAT reporting and ensure compliance with changing regulations and processes.
• Explore and implement digital tools (ERP systems, D365, Power BI, databases) to make financial reporting smarter and more efficient.
• Work closely with finance colleagues to strengthen collaboration and optimize performance.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluency in Danish and English, both spoken and written.
• 5–10 years of experience in financial controlling or an audit background.
• Experience with VAT reporting and regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (preferably D365); knowledge of Power BI or other digital reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence decisions.
• Curiosity, motivation, and a drive to find smarter, more efficient ways of working.
